About Dennis Kellar MD, FCCP, DABSM

Dr. Dennis Kellar is a board-certified physician specializing in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, critical care, and sleep medicine. He started his career by receiving his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of South Florida. Then, he received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. After finishing medical school, Dr. Kellar continued training, completing his internal medicine residency at Chicago’s Cook County Hospital. At Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Dr. Kellar completed a fellowship in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine as chief fellow.

Dr. Kellar is a proud veteran of the US Army 101st Airborne Division. He was part of Operation Noble Eagle and Operation Enduring Freedom in 2003. In 2005, Dr. Kellar was awarded the Medal-M and promoted to Major.

Dr. Kellar is married to a local pediatrician, and together they have five children. In his spare time, Dr. Kellar enjoys flying and all types of water sports.
